All corporate leaders, including PAs in high-level administrative roles, can potentially be held individually responsible for healthcare fraud and abuse. This session will cover the best mitigation strategies for avoiding allegations of Medicare and Medicaid billing fraud. These strategies include knowing Medicare and State Medicaid policies and regulations; educating the physicians, PAs, NPs and clinical operations/billing staff; and establishing a compliance plan to review billing processes and claims for accuracy.
Medicare Reimbursements’ Favorite Boy Bands: ACOs, MACRA, MIPS, and Other Acronyms
This advanced session will dive deep into Medicare billing compliance, physician documentation requirements, and billing rules in various settings.
